For my first time taking a class and a CCW at that was by far the best experience! The staff that runs all the training is very knowledgeable, helpful and respectful. They treat you as if you are family and make it feel welcoming. I walked away from this class with more knowledge about legal matters and being more prepared medically. I’ll definitely be going back in two years to renewal with them. Also thinking about taking their shot gun and pistol class when I can just because of how awesome everyone was.

I had an outstanding experience with the Medic Up team during my CCW certification. The instructors were knowledgeable, professional, and focused on safety throughout the course. I just wrapped up the Home Defense Shotgun and Pistol class with Juan as the main instructor, and it was an absolute blast from start to finish.

The instructors did a great job keeping everyone safe while doing demonstrations, teaching practical drills, and allowing us to run through mini mock stages that really tied everything together.

I especially appreciated the demonstrations showing different shot types and how they perform at various distances. It was super helpful to actually see the difference between patterns up close versus out at distance before we started shooting ourselves, and served as a good reminder to pattern and check zero on any of our own firearms we intend to use in a defensive capacity.

The drills felt realistic and had components applicable to real-life situations, which made practicing the techniques way more engaging.

My only small suggestion is that I would've loved a bit more trigger time and maybe an extra hour or two on the range. That said, I totally get how tough it is to balance a tight timeline while keeping students with various experience levels safe and engaged. The instructors handled the pacing really well and kept everyone safe and progressing.

The final stage was a ton of fun! Nothing beats ringing that yellow paper target and getting real time feedback on how far and accurately you can actually reach out and touch something with a shotgun.

I'd love to see more classes offered at different skill levels, especially some advanced ones with higher round counts for folks who want extra reps and to push their skills harder. Rifle courses would also be an awesome addition to the lineup.

All in all, it was a fun, informative, and worthwhile day. Whether you're brand new to defensive firearms or looking to sharpen your skills, I’d highly recommend this class and anything else MedicUp offers.

The medic up group is outstanding. These guys come from a strong background in both military and law enforcement. They are professional and fun to work with. I took my initial ccw course with Medic up. Good class and all the extra help you need, if you have a question just ask and they will give you the answer, or find out if they don’t have it.
I recently took the ccw add on/modify class. Super easy and fast, I got my cert later the same day.
